Unprecedented spending last week at coronaviurs hits NZ
More than 38 million extra dollars went through the tills of supermarkets the week the first Coronavirus case was confirmed. Figures from market research company Iri - show for the week ending on the 1st of March there was a 14 percent increase on the same period last year. It's managing director Craig Irwin told reporter Charlotte Cook this is unprecedented spending in New Zealand.
