Govt to release digital diary app, no data shared
A digital diary style app to help people record where you've been on any given day will be released by the government tomorrow Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern says people can use the app to log their movements, but the data won't be shared. Being able to quickly contract trace if someone tests positive for Covid-19 is part of the ongoing management of the virus and especially important now as more New Zealanders begin moving around the country again.
