K-pop fans, TikTok users disrupt Trump rally even from NZ
TikTok users and fans of Korean pop music groups say they sank President Trump's campaign rally by registering potentially hundreds of thousands of tickets as a prank. The Tulsa fire department say about 6,200 people attended a rally at the 19,200 capacity stadium in Oklahoma. After the Trump campaign's official account posted a tweet asking supporters to register for free tickets using their phones a few weeks ago, K-pop fan accounts began sharing the information with followers, encouraging them to register for the rally - and then not show. Rohan Huri lives in New Zealand but managed to take part in the trend, he told our reporter Louise Ternouth how he did it.
