A&P Shows go online, Waikato small events only

Next month's Waikato A&P Show has been cancelled due to the uncertainty around Covid-19 alert levels. The show, which last year marked its 127th anniversary, was meant kick off in Hamilton on October 30th. Cara Ferris, general manager of Showing Waikato, says because of Covid-19, this year it will instead it will be holding a handful of small events open to competitors only. She told rural reporter Maja Burry there will also be an inaugural National Online Show - involving other A&P show associations.
