Travel agents stress over refunds for customers

Travel agents have been caught in a tug of war between customers and suppliers as they try to resolve refunds from as long ago as the start of the year. The Covid-19 border restrictions have decimated the overseas travel industry, and travel agents feel it's been left to them to pick up the pieces. Travel Agents Association of New Zealand president Brent Thomas told our reporter Louise Ternouth refunds that would usually only take a few weeks are turning into months of stress.
