Ohau Village resident views devastation that was their home

Residents of Lake Ohau Village in the Mackenzie Basin yesterday made a sombre trip back to their homes, many of which were destroyed in Sunday's wildfire. At least 20 homes were levelled by the fire, which decended on the small settlement at 3 o'clock in the morning and forced residents to flee for their lives. Our reporter Tess Brunton spoke with resident Janet Brown yesterday ahead of her trip to see what remains of her home.
