80 year old on why he's voting Yes in cannabis referendum

Roderick Aldridge has never used cannabis in his life, but the 80-year-old Hamilton man will be voting to legalise the drug in the upcoming referendum. He's even been delivering New Zealand Drug Foundation pamphlets around his neighbourhood which support de-criminalising cannabis. Roderick told Indira Stewart his instinct at first was that it would lead to increased cannabis use but he's voting Yes for the same reason he voted to end 6 o'clock closing times for pubs and bars in the 1967 referendum.
