Melanoma Awareness Week:get skin checks to save lives
It's Melanoma Awareness Week and as we head into summer Melanoma NZ is urging people to get skin checks.. which could save their life. New Zealand has the worst rate of melanoma in the world, with more than 4-thousand people diagnosed with the skin cancer each year - that's some 13 a day. Over 300 people die of melanoma each year. Anna Thomas speaks with the chief executive of Melanoma NZ Andrea Newland.
