National Youth Theatre puts on one show due to Covid

Covid-19 has affected the arts no end this year, with shows and events across the country left with no choice but to cancel. The National Youth Theatre usually puts on two shows a year, each with a cast of 340 young people aged between 7 and 21. With the prospect of having no shows at all this year, the theatre had to come up with some novel ways of getting youngsters on stage during the pandemic. Our reporter Ella Stewart caught up with the theatre's chief executive and some of the performers to find out how they've coped in these covid times
