New political poll shows Labour, Adern still most popular
The honeymoon continues for the Labour government with the first political poll since the election showing the party on 53 per cent - up seven per cent since the last poll almost two months ago. The One News Colmar Brunton poll has National down 6 per cent to 25 per cent and ACT and the Greens on 8 per cent each. The Maori Party is on 2 per cent. In the preferred Prime Minister stakes, Jacinda Ardern cruised to 58 - up three per cent and National leader Judith Collins was down 8 to 12 per cent. And while that might not surprise you, what might is that in third and fourth place as preferred Prime Minister is Act leader David Seymour on 4 per cent and first time National MP former Air New Zealand boss Christopher Luxon on 2 per cent.
