Village Trust foodbank busy into Christmas

2020 has left many families struggling to make ends meet after Covid -19's arrival in New Zealand saw job losses and once-steady work become sporadic. We all need a little help sometimes, and for families in West Auckland, the Village Trust foodbank is there to lend a hand with food parcels and a comforting welcome. Nathan Rarere visited them at their Warehouse in Avondale on Friday where founder, Lady Maliena Jones, gave a tour of their facility and told him how they got started.
