Lonely Miaow - Auckland based cat and kitten rescue group

One of our new weekly segments on First Up this year is looking at wildlife and animals. The Lonely Miaow is a non-profit organisation dedicated to the rescue and care of stray and abandoned cats and kittens in the greater Auckland area. Every day, they receive calls and emails about homeless cats and kittens from the public. They take them in and look after them before pairing them with their 'forever home'. Sam Boston is the rescue manager for the lonely Miaow and spoke with Nathan Rarere.
