Australia's reaction to Harry and Meghan's revelations
Australia has always been just that little bit closer to cutting the Royal Family loose than we have here in New Zealand. The dusty former penal colony voted against becoming a republic in 1999, but the question is never far from the surface in conversations in pubs and RSL clubs across the nation. And probably no more so than now, in the wake of Harry and Meghan's interview with Oprah. Nathan Rarere was joined from the other side of the Tassie by Pam Corkery.
