Auckland businesses annoyed at Level 1 change announcement

Aucklanders will find out later today whether they are moving to Alert Level 1, having spent three days at level 3 and another 23 days at level 2. Many businesses, though, feel aggrieved that they weren't given a heads-up last night after cabinet met to discuss if the level will change. So they've faced the choice of either taking a punt on being able to operate as usual by Saturday - thus ordering the stock they need - or else risking coming up short when the punters start rolling back in. And as our producer Matthew Theunissen reports, the events industry has also been forced to do a bit of crystal ball gazing ahead of the government's announcement later this morning.
