Brits stuck in NZ hoping for visa extensions or vaccine
British citizens who were holidaying in New Zealand when the pandemic hit are desperate to remain here until the rampant Covid outbreak in the UK is brought under control - or they get a vaccine. There's a sizeable group of overseas visitors who were granted visa extensions during the pandemic, but it's unclear what will happen when those run out in the coming weeks and months. Keith Archer and his partner are hoping they'll be granted New visitor visas, and given the thousands of dollars they're injecting into the economy, he reckons there's a strong case for letting them stay. He spoke with our producer Ellie Jay.
