Moa bones arrive at Te Manawa Museum in Palmerston North

Moa bones discovered by a team working on a new highway between Manawatu and Hawkes Bay are being uplifted and welcomed to Te Manawa, the Palmerston North Museum this morning. The moa bones were discovered last month during excavation work on Te Ahu a Turanga: Manawatu Tararua Highway. Harry Lock is in Palmerston North.
