Melbourne continues lockdown after fast Covid-19 tranmission
Victorians will be living under lockdown for at least another week, after the state recorded six new locally acquired Covid-19 infections which has brought the outbreak number to 60 cases. The state's seven-day 'circuit breaker' lockdown was due to end overnight but new cases mean lockdown will continue across Greater Melbourne, with some changes to schools and movement. The New Zealand government will provide an update on the country's travel bubble arrangements with Victoria later today. Our producer Matthew Theunissen discussed the latest outbreak with Professor Nancy Baxter, who's head of the School of Population and Global Health at the University of Melbourne.
