UK government to lift most of the Covid-19 restrictions

In the UK, Boris Johnson has announced the government will lift most of the remaining Covid-19 restrictions on July 19th, that's despite a backlash from the government's own scientific advisers who have warned that doing so will be like creating new "variants factories". This comes as the UK has recorded more than 170,000 new positive cases in the past seven days, that's a 66 percent increase compared to the previous seven days. Alex Cadier spoke to Nathan Rarere.
