NZ imports five times more coal than usual in last 5 years

RNZ is revealing that New Zealand has imported five times as much coal as usual in the last five years from Indonesia, including more than a million tonnes last year. That's only the second time the country has exceeded the million tonne mark in the last 20 years An Indonesian journalist Hans Nicholas Jong says mining is a huge sector for the country. Mr Jong told our reporter Jordan Bond that the Indonesian government recently updated its mining regulations.
