First dedicated refuge shelter for pets opens

Pets at risk of being hurt because of family violence now have their first dedicated shelter. The purpose-built Pet Refuge is able take up to 75 animals at a time, keeping them safe until they can be reunited with owners. There's a 'Catio' for the felines to lounge on in the sun and watch the birds, and an outdoor obstacle course, a ball pit and a paddling pool for dogs.
