A New Zealander stranded in Kabul with her family is desperately trying to escape the Taliban. The woman has permanent residency in New Zealand, while her son is a citizen, and her husband has just been granted a visa. But now they face another hurdle - figuring out whether they qualify for the New Zealand Government's planned mercy flight. Our reporter Nick Truebridge called the family in Kabul and also spoke with their Auckland-based immigration advisor.
