Deputy PM: govt has enough Pfizer vaccine for boosters
The Deputy Prime Minister Grant Robertson says that the government has ordered enough doses of the Pfizer vaccine to begin a "booster" shot campaign, should the medical advice call for one. Some countries have already started offering 3rd shots of Covid-19 vaccines to people who are particularly vulnerable and to at-risk frontline workers. This is despite the World Health Organisation criticising such moves before many people in developing countries have even had a single dose. Nathan Rarere began by asking the Deputy Prime Minister about our managed isolation system, which has been paused to international arrivals due to the latest outbreak.
