Migrants stuck in NZ can apply for fast-tracked residenct

Thousands of migrant workers stuck in visa limbo will soon have the chance to apply for fast-tracked residency. The government has confirmed it is setting up a one-off resident visa, that could see about 110,000 people already in New Zealand apply. But for some, it's too little too late. Anand Patel has lived here for the past 10 years but after a decade-long struggle to get residency, he's already started the process of moving to Canada.
