Aus govt commits to net zero emissions by 2050, but how?
Back to Australia now where Prime Minister Scott Morrison's government is under fire for its new climate change policy, which critics say does next to nothing to address the climate crisis. The government has committed to "net zero emissions by 2050", but it hasn't released its modelling and instead of phasing out coal it's committed to digging more. Nathan Rarere asked the ABC's Gavin Coote to explain the policy and why it's caused such a fracas.
