Targeted payments to businesses strugging in the red traffic light, an 'interest-free extension' to 'small business loans', and 'flexibility on tax payment dates' are being offered by the government. The Covid Support Payment announced yesterday will see eligible businesses receive $4000 plus $400 per full-time employee - capped at $24,000. Joining me now to find out what it means to her is Auckland restaurateur Krishna Botica, who's already been forced to close two of her establishments this month due to the Covid settings.
