Ak Mayoralty candidate Leo Molloy launches campaign

Auckland mayoral candidate Leo Molloy released what he calls "Auckland's comeback plan" at his first supporters' event in the city last night. The hospitality businessman is vying for the city's top job after current mayor Phil Goff announced his retirement. As well as Mr Molloy, Councillor Efeso Collins and Heart of the City boss Viv Beck are seen as frontrunners for the mayoralty. Our producer Matthew Theunissen headed along to the event at Headquarters bar on Auckland's viaduct, which is run by Mr Molloy. He filed this report.
