A month after his sudden death, Australian cricket legend Shane Warne will be farewelled in a spublic celebration at the MCG tonight in front of tens of thousands of fans. The two hour service will feature performances and tributes from those whom Warne counted as mates.. Elton John, Chris Martin and Ed Sheeran set to perform covers of Warne's favourite INXS and Noiseworks songs. Warnes' three children, his father Keith and brother Jason will speak along with a whose who of sporting stars including Greg Norman, Sachin Tendulker, and our own Stephen Fleming. Our producer Matthew Theunissen spoke with Warne's biographer and cricket columnist for the Australian, Gideon Haigh. He began by explaining the impact that Warne's death has had on Australia and his home state of Victoria.
