NZ donations buys new ambulance for Kyiv paramedic
Last week Nathan Rarere talked with Dr Olga Dubnytska - a Ukranian-born doctor in Palmerston North whose brother Paul is an ambulance driver in Kyiv. His old ambulance wasn't prepared for the Russian invasion and when called upon to serve, it broke down. Olga appealed to her fellow Kiwis for help to raise 20-thousand dollars to replace the ambulance and in just over a week, she'd raised more than enough to get Paul back on the road. Nathan caught up with Olga and Paul and asked if she was excited at being able to buy the ambulance.
