What's the appetite for travel to NZ by Australians?
New Zealand's borders are now open to fully vaccinated Australian visitors in what is hoped will be the start of a recovery for the country's tourism sector. In a moment we'll hear from Auckland Airport, which is expecting about 3-thousand Aussies to arrive throughout the day, but first our producer Matthew Theunissen spoke with the Australian Federation of Travel Agents chief executive, Dean Long, about how much appetite there is for travel to New Zealand. And Matthew also asked Tourism New Zealand boss Rene de Monchy what they're expecting after today's border reopening.
