Waiheke restaurateur offers free training and apprencticeships

An Auckland restaurateur is offering free training and an apprencticeship programme in a bid to curb a serious shortage in hospitality workers. Nick Jones owns Waiheke Island's Mudbrick Vineyard and Restaurant. He's offering to train full and part-time workers in everything from trainee chef roles to kitchen hands, dishwashers and house-keepers. Nathan Rarere spoke with Nick and asked him how many roles he's looking to fill.
