Anti abortion activists take to Washington streets to protest Supreme Court
Anti abortion activists have taken to the streets of Washington after revelations the US Supreme Court may overturn the almost 50-year-old Roe versus Wade ruling which legalised abortion nationwide. A woman's right to have an abortion through the first trimester of pregnancy was protected nationally in the United State in 1973, following the supreme court's landmark 7-2 ruling but a leaked draft opinion suggests that might be about to change.
