Bromley residents should get financial support due to stench
The Mayor of Christchurch says residents living near the fire-damaged wastewater treatment plant in Bromley should receive financial assistance due to the constant stench they have to endure. Work to remove the rotting material will begin next month but residents are demanding immediate relief from the unbearable smell. Lianne Dalziel says that after receiving a briefing yesterday, she and councillors agreed that affected residents should receive financial support from the council.
