Wairarapa MP attempts world record 26 hour interview

From First Up, 5:53 am on 22 June 2022

Wairarapa MP Kieran McAnulty will this weekend undergo the longest recorded interview ever. Yes the government minister plans to be interviewed for 26 hours non-stop and beat the Guiness World Record set by Sir Tim Shadbolt back in 2012. He's making the attempt in order to help raise money of the Rural Support Trust, which works to improve mental health for people in rural communities. Here at First Up we're pretty well placed to give a few pointers on communicating at ungodly hours, so we offered up our services ... and Mr McAnulty accepted. Kieran McAnulty spoke with Nathan Rarere.
