US VP Kamala Harris makes video appearance at PIF

US Vice President Kamala Harris is to address the Pacific Islands Forum later today to, as the White House puts it, "underscore the commitment of the United States to the Pacific Islands region". It comes as another superpower, China, continues to make inroads into the region, with concerns Beijing may have been behind Kiribati's shock decision to walk away from the forum.
