Former mayor Tenby Powell on aid charity Kiwi Kare in Ukraine

The war in Ukraine has been going on for nearly six months. There have been at least 10 thousand deaths so far, although experts say the actual toll is likely to be a lot more. The invasion has also left many homeless and fending for themselves. Former mayor of Tauranga Tenby Powell has been volunteering in the war torn country to help those in need. Nick Truebridge asked him why he felt the need to be in Ukraine.
