Three women who triggered an 11-day lockdown in Northland last October didn't mislead authorities when they travelled to up from Auckland as was alleged. A police report released yesterday shows that while their application to cross to border was rejected by one government department, it was then approved by another. The Prime Minister had described the women as "irresponsible", "dangerous", and "extraordinarily frustrating". Nathan Rarere asked the Deputy Prime Minister Grant Robertson if he thought that was fair.
