Ruapehu businesses want govt to help failing ski operators RAL

Ruapehu businesses are calling for the government to help the failing RAL company which runs the Whakapapa and Turoa ski fields. Voluntary administrators have been called in to try and figure out whether the operation can be saved, or if it will have to close. uapehu Alpine Lifts was hit hard by two years of Covid, while this year's ski season never really got going because of a lack of snow.
