Softball World Cup to kick off in Auckland

The Black Sox have won the Softball World Cup every time the tournanment has been hosted in New Zealand. Over two weeks at the Rosedale Park diamond on Auckland's North Shore the team will be trying to win an eighth world title. Despite limited international game time since the last world cup - where the team finished fourth - captain Cole Evans told sports reporter Felicity Reid this tournament is an opportunity to show New Zealand how the sport has grown over the last few years.
