AK Floods:how Nth Shore businesses coping

Among the areas worst affected by the floods in Auckland was Wairau Valley on Auckland's North Shore. It's where two of the four people confirmed to have died in the disaster lost their lives. Our producer Jeremy Parkinson visited businesses in the area, starting with the Coffee Lab Roasting Company. He asked owner Anna McGregor if the bags of coffee beans that ended up underwater are now unusable. Next, Jeremy caught up with Sarah Atkinson from Opal and Sage.. Sarah's is in the candle and crystal business.. Among the community organisations that have rallied to support victims of the flood, the Supreme Sikh Society yesterday prepared hundreds of meals for those affected. Jeremy Parkinson visited its busy langar - or community kitchen - in Takanini, where he caught up with Sukhjap Singh.
