Small businesses not happy with min wage increase

One of Prime Minister Chris Hipkins announcements yesterday was an increase of $1.50 to the minimum wage. Currently sitting at $21.20, the minumum wage will be lifted to $22.70 come April. Mr Hipkins explained the changes to Checkpoint last night. The owner of Umu Pizza in Kingsland, Paul Consedine says the change is going to be a tough on his business's finances.
