Gabrielle: Metservice updates on overnight weather

Twenty four severe weather warnings and watches remain in place this morning as ex-Cyclone Gabrielle bears down on northern New Zealand. A State of Emergency has been declared in Northland for the next seven days, while the Auckland Harbour Bridge remains closed this morning due to strong winds.
