An Auckland councillor is fighting to keep liquor stores away from a suburb in her constituency, fearing it could become awash with booze as in neighbouring areas. Maungakiekie-Tamaki ward councillor Josephine Bartley says the shops in Pt England are "sitting ducks" to become off licence liquor outlets.
