Mother & son woodchoppers compete in Waimate championships
A Canterbury mother and son are carving out a big name for themselves in the world of competitive woodchopping. Raewyn Windley and her 15-year-old son Lochie are both competing at the South Island championships in Waimate this weekend. Raewyn is a world title-holder and has half-a-dozen New Zealand records to her name, while Lochie recently made the national under-21 team. The Windleys spoke to reporter Jean Edwards, who started by asking Raewyn about her speciality.
