Marama Davidson won't be apologising for cis white men comments
It's been quite a week for Green Party co-leader Marama Davidson. On Saturday morning at the protest against anti-trans activist Posie Parker, she was hit by a motorcycle and injured. She was then confronted by people from a far-right conspiracy website and filmed saying it is "white cis men who cause violence in the world" . This comment blew up on social media, with New Zealand First leader Winston Peters and the Act Party leader David Seymour even calling for her to resign. She later clarified her comments, saying violence happens in every community, something the Prime Minister Chris Hipkins said he's accepted, particularly given she'd just been injured. Marama Davidson spoke with Nathan Rarere.
