Karekare forging ahead with recovery, holding soap box derby

We heard from Muriwai earlier this week, today we're getting an update from the Auckland West Coast settlement of Karekare . The future of the roads, which sustained major damage, is still a big question mark... but there is a silver lining this Sunday with a soap box derby happening for the local kids. Nathan Rarere asked Karekare resident and volunteer fire chief Toby Hyman about the past month and a half.
