Tairua's skatepark is finally going ahead

Quick update for you now, about the Tairua Skate Park in the Coromandel Locals there had been trying for 30 years to get one built, but kept getting denied because of disgruntled residents and bach owners. Well we can confirm that at long last, after a recent judicial review at the high court, the Skate Park project will be going ahead! Jacqui Gage-Brown is the chair of Tairua Sport & Recreation Trust, and told our reporter Leonard Powell last night it's a huge relief for the community.
