As unrest in the Middle-East intensifies, experts are battling a war of another kind - social media is full of misleading information. There are false videos, photographs and even tampered official documents circulating on platforms like TikTok and X - the platform formerly known as Twitter. But things got even more serious last week, when The LA Times retracted rape allegations against Palestinian group Hamas.
