14yo inventor from Rotorua uses AI to trap wallabies

Wallabies, adorable and harmless on the rugby field, but harmful and devastating to Aotearoa's ecosystem. 14 year old Cameron Moore from Rotorua was concerned about the growing wallaby population in the Whakarewarewa forest. So he designed an AI pest trap, that catches Wallabies but not our precious native species, and he won himself an award for his troubles. Nathan Rarere asked him to explain how his trap works and where the idea came from.
