Ideas for 27 September 2009: Tonga in Focus

Part one of a three part series on Tonga in Focus. November 2009 will see the release of the final report of Tonga's Constitutional and Electoral Commission. The Commission - established in 2008 - will make recommendations on what will be the most far reaching political reforms in Tonga since the country's constitution came into effect in 1875. This week Ideas hears from a wide range of Tongans - from the Prime Minister to Mrs Lumsden at Nuku'alofa's market - about their hopes and fears for a new democratic Tonga.
