Joe O’Loughlin doesn’t get on that well with his aloof father, a celebrated surgeon, but is devoted to his mother, a loyal wife for sixty years. His parents were childhood sweethearts, and have a solid marriage and relationship, both with a clear sense of right and wrong.

At least that is what Joe thought until he rushes to the hospital after his father has been brutally attached. There at his father’s hospital is a woman who claims to be his father’s other wife of twenty years.
